Tidal Waves,

We look forward to another competitive meet tomorrow at Stuart Heights. Their address is 3218 Social Circle, 37415. This is an important Blue Division meet. We have been asked not to enter the pool deck until 4:25. Additionally, there are 10 reserved parking spots that we are asked not to use. Check-in will be as you enter the pool. All swimmers and volunteers will need to check in on arrival.

The tent for the 8 and under swimmers will be right near check- in at the end of the pool opposite the starting blocks. We need all 8 and under swimmers to stay here so they will be lined up easily for their events.

The 9-10 swimmers will have a tent at the opposite end, still on the right-hand side of the pool along the fence, near the starting blocks.
We ask that you keep ALL your swimmers on the right side of the pool and make sure that they do not go toward the deep end or up on top of the concession stand viewing area. This will help the coaches and deck parents to get swimmers to their assigned events on time.

This pool can be very difficult to manage the younger swimmers. We will need all the help we can get in the deck parent area. Parents please send your swimmer early to the senior mentors & deck parents. The 8 & under swimmers will swim individual events from the opposite end of the pool from the dive blocks. Timers do not move at this pool.

*Warmups will begin approximately 4:30 with the meet starting at 5:30.

The good news tonight is we are swimming in an 8 lane pool. That means more swimmers during the point races. It gives many a chance to get a good time in more strokes. First alternates will be racing in the point races tonight in lane 8. The alternates still may be asked to move to the inside lanes to take the place of a point swimmer should they be absent. 

It is a fun tradition to throw our coaches in the pool when we win. However, we only do this at our home pool.  Let's show respect and gratitude to our host team and save this for when we are at OSC. 

Dinner after the meet will be at Penn Station East Coast Subs at 5241 Hwy 153 in Hixson. They will give the team a percentage of all food sales so please make sure to let them know that you are with the Tidal Waves.
