Today is meet day and yes once again the weather looks unfavorable but we will try to get the meet completed. Tonight we will be swimming signal mountain at our HOME pool. If you RSVP'd YES to the meet please show up. If the meet is canceled we will send out a rained out text alert. You need to have signed up to receive these text. The instructions are on the website.

IF the meet gets canceled it will be made up on Tuesday and the ice cream social/pictures will be rescheduled. If this happens we will need you to RSVP with us tonight at the pool or on the website again that you can be at the Tuesday meet. Ideally we would like this completed before you leave the pool area as it will be a quick turn around for coaches to make any changes.

***We are still in need of volunteers for tonights meet especially in the deck parent area. If you have a child who swims in the 10 & under group and you did not pay the opt out for volunteering please step up and help in this area. We will begin contacting parents for help if we can not get volunteers. Also please ensure your 10 & under swimmer has their name and age on their back and events written on their arm. Too many kids are showing up to the blocks without any information on them and they do not know what they are swimming. This is making it very difficult getting swimmers in the lanes they need to be in and can cause your swimmer to miss a swim.  If your your 10 under swimmer does not stay in the bullpen area you will need to ensure they make it to the blocks. Ultimately it is the parent and swimmers responsibility to make sure they make the swim. Deck parents are their to assist.

**The below email went out last night but did not complete to all email addresses so I have copied it below so you are aware of changes for this week.

Please note a few practice changes for this week only....

1. Tuesday evening, 6/20,  there will be no evening practice for Mikal/Jack/Stacy's group since the ice cream social and pictures will start at 7:30pm on Tuesday. If you practice in this group please try to make the morning practice. Coach Jones group will still practice at 6:30pm before the icecream & pictures

2. Friday, 6/23, There will be no morning or evening practice for Coach Jones group due to an out of town year round meet.

***We are still in need of volunteers for Monday's meet. If you did not opt out of volunteering when you registered please sign up for an open slot. Still needed for Monday are: 4 deck parents, 1 place judge, 2 parking attendants (need to arrive by 350pm) and 1 set up/clean up (need to arrive by 350pm) If you can help with one of these please login and sign up or reply to this email.

Don't forget that Tuesday 6/20 we will be having the team ice cream social, individual pictures and team pictures. Please arrive by 7:30. Team picture will be taken first followed by the individual pictures and ice cream.
